![]() ![]() I collect them ahead of need and use them in the outdoor landscaping, so I can just go out and "shop" for the right one in my own yard, when the need arises. I particularly look for those that are natively to the region from which the turtles originate, those whose color will off-set (contrast with) the turtles with which they will be used, and those which are taller (for use in deeper water) and which have flat "bottoms" so they will be safe and stable in the enclosure. ![]() I'm just always on the look-out for good (free, and pretty) stones, when at the lake, along streams or in places where river-rounded rocks occur, near home or when on vacation. ![]() Good idea, where do you get those and how do you set up stones for basking exactly? ![]()
